WEBSITE COOKIE POLICY

Çağdaş Kağıt Ambalaj San. ve Tic. Ltd. Şti. (www.cagdaskagit.com) uses cookies, as many websites do, to improve and facilitate visitors' use of the website.

This Cookie Policy has been prepared to inform website visitors about the definition of cookies, types of cookies, cookies used by www.cagdaskagit.com, and how cookie preferences can be managed. If the cookie usage notice on the website is closed or the website continues to be used, it is deemed that cookies are approved.

If cookie usage is not approved, it is necessary not to continue to the website or to change cookie preferences through the browser. In cases where cookies are not allowed, some issues may be experienced on the website.

WHAT IS A COOKIE?

A cookie is a small text file stored on the computer, mobile device, or network server used when a website is visited. These files store data such as the IP address logged in, session information, and accessed pages. Cookies do not include data like name, surname, phone number, or address. Through cookies, user website preferences can be remembered, sessions can remain open, or content can be provided based on the user's interest.

WHY ARE COOKIES USED?

The main purposes of using cookies on our website are listed below:

  • To enhance the functionality and performance of the website and improve the services offered to users,
  • To improve the website, offer new features on the website, and personalize the provided features based on users' preferences;
  • To ensure the legal and commercial security of the website, users, and our company.

    TYPES OF COOKIES

Cookies are categorized based on criteria such as storage duration and who places them. Within this framework, the main distinctions are as follows:

  • Session Cookies/Persistent Cookies: Session cookies are temporary and are deleted from the device when the browser is closed. The main purpose of using these cookies is to ensure the website functions properly during the user's visit. Persistent cookies, however, remain on the device after the browser is closed until they are deleted by the visitor or their expiration date passes. With persistent cookies, if our website is revisited using the same device, it is determined whether a cookie created by our website exists on the user's device, and if so, it is understood that the user has previously visited the site. Content is determined accordingly, thus providing better service to the user.

  • First-Party/Third-Party Cookies: First-party cookies are cookies placed on the device by the website operator being visited. Third-party cookies are placed and controlled on the device by entities other than the website operator being visited.
